For sale is a 1998 Gibson Blueshawk in Heritage Cherry that’s been thoughtfully upgraded into a far more versatile and expressive instrument than stock. Along with the original Gibson Blues 90 pickups, this Blueshawk now features a professionally installed DiMarzio middle pickup and 5-way blade switch for expanded Strat-style tones, plus the original 6-position Varitone for even deeper tonal shaping.

A gold Bigsby vibrato has also been added, and the guitar’s body was professionally modified to properly accommodate the Bigsby bridge system. The work is clean, solid, and fully stable — not a hack job. The result is improved playability, tuning stability, and access to smooth vibrato without compromising the guitar’s structural integrity.
